At Athens Spine Center our focus is to provide the best care available for each of our patients. Our understanding physicians and staff concentrate on the individualized needs of each patient. Through the use of innovative techniques and collaboration with multiple specialists we strive to alleviate patient suffering and return optimum functioning and quality of life.
We concentrate on pain originating from spinal pathology using a multidimensional approach in treatment. Spinal injections, physical therapy, medical psychology and behavioral assessments, adjuvant medications as well as opioids may be considered in treatment.
Opioid or narcotic medications are not kept in our office and are reserved for select patients in whom they are indicated. We do not automatically assume or prescribe medications when patients are initially evaluated.
We promise to work to improve patient pain and quality of life by providing the highest quality of care. We would be honored to have the opportunity to care for you.
Our calls are answered by an answering service after office hours for urgent medical issues. The answering service cannot process scheduling questions and/or cancellations or medication refills. These requests are handled during office hours ONLY (click on Phone Call Policy). If you have a true medical emergency dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
